Not quite warm enough for water sports. Not nearly cool enough to hit the ski
slopes. But September and October are the perfect months to make a weekend trip
to one of Colorado’s many inviting hot springs.
The state is home to hundreds of the bubbling baths – if you count every
trickle and seep. About 93 of them are large enough to hold you and a few
friends. But of those, only a few dozen are open to the public.
