Casually dressed in a T-shirt and shorts, a baseball cap shielding his eyes
from the late afternoon sun, the middle-aged man strolled into the courtyard.
Walking past the flowerbed that held a large stone engraved with the words
"Shakespeare Gardens," he stopped to watch as several gardeners
settled a bushy rosemary shrub into its new surroundings.
